How to determine what wildlife...

will possibly be affected if my environmental permit is granted and my project moves forward. I've not had to answer this one before on an application, and I'm not sure where to start. Any help is appreciated.

I'm not an environmental expert by any means, but I'd probably start by checking the National Marine Fisheries Service map for your state to determine if any wildlife might be affected by runoff. NOAA also has some handy tools that map out critical habitat areas and conservation areas. Another useful resources is available at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service website, which covers both the land and water species that need consideration in each area. Like I said, I'm no expert, but hopefully these tools will help you get started.
